What is the last thing you learned?
I had them in a pen, covered by a tarpaulin and a STORM CAME! I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night and go set it back up. As I layed back down I saw a vision of a BIG OL’TURTLE TOE! (BEWARE OF DANGER) The toes of a turtle can be SHARP, and DANGEROUS, so “WE ARE NOT TURTLES,” came to mind and having the fairly young birds on the wet ground! Holy cow, what if one bird gets sick, and my whole flock dies? I went back out early the morning and gave them grain and corn with some high protein feed! Bless!
